Hi there everyone,
I am currently in the middle of getting a saddle fitted to my horse and I have a slight anxiety about this! Currently my boy has a black bridle, and his saddle pad, tendon boots etc are bright blue!
Due to me having quite survier OCD I like my things matching and each horse has a set colour and I need to stick to the colour scheme or it upsets me! That's where the problem comes in! The saddle fitter seems to only have brown saddles that would fit my boy (she is going to check in her stock to see if she has any other saddles to so she might have some black ones) but there is a high possibility that I might end up with a brown saddle, which I am okay with as i have time to rearrange my colour scheme (sudden changes tend to upset me too) so I am mentally preparing myself incase I do need to change the colour of everything!
My boy is a big 15.3 bright chestnut/red Welshy so currently i am thinking too change it to a dark Forrest green if I get a brown saddle? Or if you could suggest any other colours that might go with him? ( https://instagram.com/p/9dotruHmR8/ ) < that's a picture of his colour there, it also shines very bright in the sun!:)
Also what colour Tendon boots would go with brow tack would you suggest? As his tendon boots are also currently bright blue too haha!:)

Thanks in advance!
Cosmic :) x

I'd leave him in the blue with the brown tack and just change his bridle to brown :) . If you want to change it how about a really smart navy?

He'll look super in brown tack, honestly. I have a part Welsh who's almost the same colour as your boy (roaning makes his colour a bit less bright). His saddle is quite a light brown and while you'd think it might clash, everyone comments on how much it suits him. We don't really do the matchy-matchy thing, but he suits either navy or light blue very well. Also green and grey.

Here's a pic - you can just see a navy saddle cloth poking out. Unfortunately I don't have a side-on shot for the full effect.
