The UK seems pretty clued up about tack and saddle fit comparative to other countries (generalisation much, but it definately seems more wide spread believed knowledge here? Correct me if i'm wrong). So our horses start playing up, we get the saddle checked, back sorted and he stops (sometimes lol, if it was a pain issue). So what does joe public horse owner do if they don't check the tack, change the saddle etc? Just curious really, not meaning to make sweeping generalisations/offend or anything. xx

I dont know?germany seem to be pretty good horse people generally.Although i have heard some of their riding schools are awful!but i suppose thats not really what you asked. But then,i spose england is an animal loving nation!(most people anyway)

I'd never heard of a horse "back person/physio/etc" until I moved to England. Although that may be because I was around no nonsense horse people back home, rather than the whole of Ireland is useless. ;)

At the yard I went to in Sri Lanka for a while the horses were better turned out/cared for than many over here! But then there were other extremes like bits made out of wire hangers. OW OW OW! :(

I'd heard something about a respected saddle fitter in ireland only built saddles on medium trees and thats all you could get. Rumours obviously lol. But wire coat hanger bits?!? Owwwww!!
