went to watch a bit of the junior premier show at towerlands today and a girl came into the ring with what looked like a running martingale on but also had a strap type thing on the front of the breast plate and attached to the back of the noseband,looked like the strap had elastic on it as well,(cant be sure as only got to see it when she flew past a couple of times) it certainly looked like it had a lot going on under his neck tackwise!! anyone know what it is?

yep that looks like it, ive never seen one before but then i have been out of the horse loop for a fair few years!

Blimey, that does look like a lot of leatherwork! I wonder what the point is of having the running martingale attachment as surely the standing would act first?
