'only' 1 saddle, 5 girths, 8 numnahs/saddlecloths

Well I'm not doing too badly, but then I have only had George for 2 months so I'm sure it will escalate knowing what a weak will I have whilst in the saddlery!!!
I have for 1 horse:
1 saddle, girth, stirrups
2 sets of stirrup leathers (first set a bit too long!)
1 bridle
2 sets of reins (had to swap the bulky rubber ones he came with)
1 pair of overeach boots
Set of brushing boots
2 numnahs
1 roller
Pair of side reins
2 lunge lines
1 cooler rug
1 light stable rug
1 quilted stable rug
1 turnout rug
2 headcollars
1 fly fringe
1 fly hood (he hates this)

Um I think that's about it, not bad for 2 months!

Oh dear

At least three bridles, one for general riding, one for XC and a double bridle plus various bits and pieces which could probably make up another bridle.

2 saddles - one that is hugely too big though, the other I use all the time but I want to buy a dressage saddle as well.

Not too bad with rugs, 2 turn out rugs, one stable rug, underrug, two coolers and a fly rug. But I've got a load of other rugs at home from my old horse that I haven't gotten around the selling yet.

Bits - don't even get me started, I have LOADS - some of which I don't even know what they are for and some I will never use (driving breaking bit with keys anyone LOL). I love bits though, I can never resist buying them if I see them cheap.

I've really enjoyed reading this so I'll join in:

2 saddles - s/j & dresage
3 bridles - competition, everyday, lunging
leather headcollar
extra reins
breastplate
martingale
stud girth
6 numnahs
6 sets boots - 3 for everyday, 3 for competition
but my downfall .... rugs ...
3 turnouts - summer, autumn, winter
3 stables - spring, autumn, winter
3 rug liners !!!
3 summer sheets
3 exercise sheets - heavy, light x2, fluorsecent
1 walker rug
6 travel rugs - heavy, light, waterproof etc etc
That's 22 rugs for 1 horse, good grief that's far too much. And last year I gave away at least half of my gear to a nearby government sponsored horse project. I was going to buy a new winter stable but after reading that list, I think he has enough.

oh dear I don't even want to think about it.... Since I am relocating overseas it will all need to be sorted and either stored to sold :-(
In addition to G's basic kit (saddle, bridle, 3 x rugs, headcollars/lead ropes, boots, transport socks etc etc), all the grooming kit and general stable stuff I have a largeish pile of things I never use, two lovely kieffer saddles that I just cannot part with, lots of spare new white saddlecloths. a couple of bridles for CJ to grow into (she's only 2... poor thing) about 5 spare headcollars/lead ropes, a couple of more rugs, not to mention all those random little things as well as my riding clothes. I might need to do a tackroom clearout :-)
