Can someone give me any advice on insuring tack, due to all the thefts of late I am taking my tack home all the time leaving nothing at the yard but at weekends this is a nightmare as I have a sharer and would like to be able to leave the tack at the yard at times but will not do this without it being insured.

Any advice would be appriciated as I really dont know who to use

Thank you in advance

Tricky with the sharer and all.
I have mine currently on my horses insurance - was speaking to them today (SEIB) and they said it was £35 for the year on top of my horse insurance.
But in the past i did have it covered on my car insurance - personal items.
And in the past have put it on my house insurance as 'item used away from the home'.
Most of these value needs to be under £1000 i think - give yours a call and see what they say.
Oh and finally (Sorry) did have it covered under my own riding insurance when i was sharing a horse. Your sharer should have her/his own rider policy and it can be covered on that too - in total this insurance cost me £9 per month so not massively expensive.

Good luck :-)
