Tack insurers??

Is there a company that will insure your tack in a livery yard?

A lot of companies do not do it if the tack room is accessible by more than 5 (or 7?) people even if it is locked.

Does anyone know of a company that does insure it within your horse insurance? Or do you have to insure separately?

Try SEIB, they are very helpful and if they cant do it I'm sure they know someone who can!

When you do find an insurer have a look at the small print because you will probably see that your saddle will not be covered.....ridiculous I know but they cover everything but the saddle. You have to add that to the policy. I suppose it's because of the vast difference in prices of saddles.

Milin insurance they cover mind as long as it is in a locked room no other stipulations.

I have just had mine stolen and they paid up within 10 days no arguments.
