Tack shop in Hawick, Scotland?

I drive past a tack shop in Hawick, Martins(something)? a few times a year but I'm never in a position to stop.

Does anyone know it? and is it worth a trip? It would take me about an hour to get to.

Although I see there are some second hand/antique furniture shops there to, so they may be worth a closer inspection too!

It closed down last year im afraid. was a really good shop aswell. Heard the owner decided to move out of the area

Has that place closed down? What a shame. It was a lovely tack shop. I bought some stuff there when i was last in Hawick, and had a really nice chat with the woman there about my little mare, but that would have been last summer.

There is a nice tack shop in Kelso, although its not huge. Its called McNab's and the man who runs it is lovely. I think there is another branch in Jedburgh as well.

I live in Hawick and unfortunately, Martinshouse Equestrian has closed, she has moved over to Ireland I think, the shop is still being run as a website I believe, but dont know the address im afraid!

I would have thought another person would have stepped in to run it as a tack shop, it's in a prime position in a horsey area.
What a shame.
