Tack shop in Nottingham

Anyone know of any good tack shops in Nottingham for general riding equipment (not looking for any leather work). I'm at the university so don't really know the equestrian scene round here but need to find somewhere to buy a horsey related xmas present! As close to uni as possible please!

Where do you live in Nottingham? The probs with tack shops is they are all in little villages!! Do you have transport at all?

Hoofaloof in Ravenshead and Martins at Dorket Head are both really good - St Clements in Calverton is okay, but they only offer credit notes if you need to return anything.

Yes I do have my car up here just didn't want to be trekking all over Nottinghamshire to places that had no recommendation! Easy to find ones though would be good as have v. poor navigational skills round this area!

Risley on derbys/notts border is really good and quite big!

there is allso tack and turnout in kirkby in ashfield thats a good friendly and quite well priced shop i miss that now i have moved to northen ireland

Hoof aloof is good, not been for a while though. Risley saddlery, but then i'm biased because my horse is thier model!

Is Decathlon, still there, they sold horse stuff at a decent price, it was just off the Motorway junction (26?) near, Ikea,

Yeah it is, webt the other day, does have some good stuff. Cheap riding wear and some lovely rugs.
