Tack shops around Bury St Edmunds....

Major panic!! Meant to be competing tomorrow (dressage) and suddenly realsied that I left my competition riding boots at my friends (in Sussex) last month!! I have my hunting boots, which I tried to clean up yesterday, but zips are clogged with mud and not working properly!!

I have funny shaped legs, so cheap boots never fit! I have some black jod boots, and was thinking of getting some leather gaitors to wear, but most of the tack shops around here are hideously expensive, ie, Taylors, lol.

Anyone got any ideas??

Hmmm, could pop over to Overa - I have a friend that has their horse on livery there, so be an excuse to visit her, lol. Might try Dawns Tack Box in Stowmarket - just want to avoid spending the afternoon driving around the countryside, lol.

Think one zip needs to be replaced, as pretty mangled - my own fault for throwing them in bag after the last hunt and forgetting to clean them! Still, we aren't starting cubbing for a couple of weeks, so have a little while to get them fixed, lol

What about Long Melford Saddlery?? Or if you are in Stowmarket, what about Mill Saddlery...
