I know there used to be a shop at the riding school/livery yard at Barry/Carnoustie and Nimrod in Perth. Are they still there and are there any others? Need to get some odds and ends whilst staying with parents.

Conchies (Barry) still there.
Nimrods no longer- moved out to auchterarder (gleneagles) then had a closing down sale earlier in the month- still saddle fitting.
Perth also has McCash's which does feed/gifts/bird/dog stuff aswell, Stirlingshire Saddlers, Country Corner (feed and basics but very friendly). Earn Equestrian is new in Bridge of Earn near Perth- lovely dressage orientated shop, quite posh.
Crop Services in Pitscottie (St Andrews/Cupar) do feed and have a new tack shop but haven't been in. There's also a place in Leslie near Glenrothes but I don't know it.
The Tack Room, Tillyochie, near Kinross- great shop, full to the brim!
Where are you parents and what sort of thing are you looking for?

Cheers. Parents are in Newport-on-Tay. I went to school in St Andrews so know where Pitscottie is :). Conchie's was a bit run down last time I was there - am looking for higher-end stuff, but it was quite a few years ago. Might take a run round Perth way and try Stirlingshire and maybe Bridge of Earn too.

What about a bit further down - near Dunblane/Stirling - Would be a good way to spend some time when I'm up there with work....LOL

Stirlingshire Saddle Fitters and Stirling Pet & Equine Shop are both at the new Stirling Market beside Dobbies.

Boquhan Estates is just outside of Stirling heading towards Kippen.

About 20-40mins from Stirling is Russells of Larbert and Central Saddlery in the Falkirk-ish area; both these places are bigger and carry a bigger choice of stock.

Happy Shopping :)

Crops services in Pitscottie are brilliant, excellent customer services we are regularly along there.
Fosterton Pet & Equine in Leslie, Glenrothes is also brilliant again we are regulars and the 2 women that run the store know when to expect us :p Always have new stuff in and if they dont have your size/colour they will order it in

I was in Earn Equestrian the other day and the woman was very helpful! have to say for the more expensive things I tend to look online, u do tend to get a better deal.
