I'm now on a field where I cant leave tack for fear of it going missing... Thankfully the field is only a 2min walk on foot from my house.
But carrying two lots of saddles, Bridles, High vis etc is hard work. Anyone got any trolley or otherwise ideas that would work across a muddy dirt-track?

A clean wheelbarrow kept specifically for that purpose?

You can buy tack trolley things, or indeed make your own like my Dad did for me, but they tend to have small hard wheels that don’t cope well with anything other than concrete.

Ooo good point on the wheels... Hadn't thought of that. Hmm.

Not necessarily for everyone but my Wintec Lite saddle only weights 8 pounds, it is really easy to carry as a result.
Otherwise for transport I think a good wheelbarrow is a good bet, ideally 2 wheeled so it doesn't fall over if you are pushing with one hand.

I meannnn... I have two perfectly good and well fitted saddles...

I think it might depend on whether you are going to leave everything on the trolley at home or are happy to chuck it into travel.
This one has the best wheels I think of an actual tack trolley but you pay ££ for it.
I wonder if some of the others could have the wheels switched

Thanks for the link. Hadn't heard of them before, but selling only British made products is a bonus for me.

some of the golf trolleys have a bit that sticks out for you to attach the bag. my friend pit a bit of padding on this and used some bungees to keep the saddle still. she used to pull the trolley so the saddle was almost horizontel so wouldnt slip off. if you put golf trollies on e bay there are different models, some of them dont seem to have the sticky out bit so wouldnt work... personally i would buy a wheelbarrow and use it only for transporting tack, much easier and if it is raining you could put a rug over the top...
