Tackboxes?

My son has asked for a 'proper' tack box (for grooming kit) and step stool. Ideally, I'd like one that works as both. But needs to be big enough to hold all brushes etc, and have room for a padlock. So plaiting steps are out of the question as too small internally.

secondly, I'd like to get him some new brushes. Local tackshop only sells kiddie sized brushes in pink or purple. Anyone know where I can get a blue or green junior grooming kit?

my sprogs have the shires box which they can stand on to do manes etc

ebay have green & blue kids brushes in backpacks i think

shires/robinsons for brushes?

our local feed shop has small blue ones, cottage craft i think?

i have girls so its all pink & purple lol

Stanley toolbox - various sizes from any DIY shop, well made and last far longer than anything you can get in a tack shop.

I second the idea of buying Stanley tool boxes. They are large enough to hold the brushes in & sturdy enough to step on. It seems as soon as something is branded 'Equestrian' is seems to double in price

And I third the Stanley tool box idea! I use mine as a plaiting/grooming step so they are up to adult weight too.

The other option is a tool box from the local DIY shop I used one for years.
