I have just purchased my first horse in over 15 years ( iM picking him up next weekend) I am keeping him at a small livery yard in our village. Im after some tags or labels to put on his rugs, etc
Does anyone know where to get them from?

I use marker pen to write their names on the straps. This way it cant fall off. I even use spray paint to write my postcode on the rug itself. -I'd rather have my rug still on my horse at the end of the season, than have it looking brand new but stolen.

I'd also use tags (identity tags in fact) which also say my horses are microchipped, so added to the freezemark painted onto the rug, hopefully no thief will ever bother with mine!

Just letting you know I ordered some of the tags from the kids Id website I found the other day.
They arrived yesterday and they look great.

I got some round metal tags a couple years ago from an ebay seller. (afraid I can't remember which seller right now!) Got about 20 I think for not a huge amount of money, maybe £5-£10? They are small metal discs about 25mm diameter and have her name engraved on them.

If your tags are 'sewable', then equally, they are removable.
I would recommend using a permanant marker pen on the bindings of a rug, and a spray painted postcode on the rug itself. There are some heartless swine out there who will steal the rug from your horse's back in nthe middle of the night when it is raining and blowing hard! I know this from personal experiance!
