So after I lost my beloved boy I decided to get a bracelet done to always have a part of him with me.

Found a company on Ebay and after a few messages I decided on the design I wanted.

Anyways it arrived yesterday and I'm over the moon with the finished result and wanted to share it...

I made a similar one myself after I lost my lad, they're a great keepsake to have.
 
I got the exact same bracelet & charm made for my daughter for her 16th (but white tail hair) :D she loves it to bits but it made her cry when she opened it because it reminded her he has to go this year :( She wears it all the time xx
 
That is lovely, I lost mine today so really gutted. It came off up the yard and we can not find it anywhere. Mine was a lot more money and could not afford to replace with the same company, but yours looks just as lovely and a fraction of the price. Will have to get another one as I miss not having it already.

I've got a bit of mane and tail from my foal 'Zazou' (lost him coming up 2 years ago at 5m old) and have never gotten round to doing anything with it....Im quite inspired to see if they can do something for me..just hope i have enough hair for one!

These are all lovely - and such a special reminder. When my friend's mare died suddenly, I had the sense to cut a little of of her tail before they took her and I made her something similar (not as 'professional', of course!) using a kit I got from Robinsons. I waited a little while (she was seriously injured) before I gave her the bracelet and she was so touched and I know she'll treasure it always.

I have been looking into getting one made, however I only have a bit of his mane, never took tail as it all happened too quick to really think.

I have been wandering if anyone could do something with the mane I have? so far they have all needed quite a length and im not sure what I have will be enough.
