Matine is a Mare actually, and she is lovely, I think she fell off the lorry ramp and hasn't been at a major competition since.

Tails are so expressive. I would love to have a tail.

I think the horse is doing this when she is concentrating extra hard or during a movement she finds exerting. Maybe a bit of both, she is concentrating extra hard doing a movement which uses a lot of energy.

I've always thought and been told that tail swishing is a sign that something is wrong, pain or tension in the back...
