Tail rubbing HELP

My pony has recently started to loose the hair on the top of his tail im not sure wether he was rubbing it in the trailer as today I took him in it and by the time I got to my training he has a big patch with no hair! so he will be travelled with tail guard now,but how can I make his tail look tidier and grow back quicker?

Worm and put pouron, on her back and tail. It will kill lice or any itching. Takes 2 days. Best of luck.
