Does anyone have any experience with a tail bag to keep a white tail clean whilst turned out and whilst in the stable?

Any brands you would recommend?

Tail gators look great. Bit confused though about the fold up or non fold up. The site doesn't give that much info.

I have the tailgater fold up bag - it has a little velcro strip at the bottom that you feed through a loop at the top so only one fold - keeps it out the mud.
Possibly the best thing Ive ever bought for my white tailed traditional cob. He likes the mud and can have sloppy poos so a pain to keep the tail clean - I keep it on most of the time at the moment. It doesnt bother him if ridden in it or lunged. I always make sure its dry when it goes in.

A big square of old sheet, 2 rips almost to the top hem. Thread old shoelace through hem. Wash tail and condition. Leave conditioner in....tie shoelace around top of tail, divide tail hair into 3 and start plaiting with each section wrapped in one of the sheet sections.....secure bottom with a hair tie or rubber band!....probably needs doing most weekends.....you can wash and reuse when grubby or simply chuck it away!!!
