Hi
My 8 month old puppy had a bit of an accident last saturday and managed to wag his tail so hard against the fence he took the tip of it clean off. Our garden looked like a crime scene have never seen so much blood!! We managed to wrap it and get him to the vet who just gave him antibiotics and a painkiller injection and bandaged it up. I had to take him back monday to get the bandage changed and when the vet removed it the tail started to bleed again. I have to re bandage every 3 to 4 days and try to stop him wagging his tail but it is a mission impossible as he is a happy chappy all the time.
Has anyone else had any experience with this and any ideas how to stop him wagging his tail lol.
He is a Doberman collie cross by the way.
