Tail Wash - Recommendations Please

Could anybody recommend a product for a really scurfy horrible yucky tail (near the skin I mean). The tail itself is fairly clean but its in amongst the hair. What I am looking for is a sort of Head & SHoulders for horses. Got any ideas?

just use Head & Shoulders! It will have been far better tested for irritancy and efficacy than the horsey shampoos.

I would just use a normal mild shampoo but really give the tail and dock a good massaging like wash and get righ into the roots. And wash the tail regularly! I am not normally a big washer of horses in general but my current horse seems to become very itchy and scurfy in both his mane and tail rather too often. Saving grace is that he actually loves his mane and tail being washed, particularly being massaged with the shampoo!!
