Hi All,

I recently bought a new single ifor williams trailer.

The problem I have is........

I have a loaner, now she is brilliant with him, talks to him all the time, pampers him, etc but.... last night we tried to load him into the trailer, tried quite a lot of different things and he wouldn't go in for my loaner, I tried and first time he went up, in and out the front.

Why would he not do this with her but do it first time with me. I obviously want him to be the same with both of us as we are both a huge part of his life. I felt soooo bad when I tried too and he went straight up, I dont want to rub it in her face that he done it for me.

Any suggestions or reasons why this would happen.

Thanks,
Kelly

I would say that he is far more confident in you than in her. I think that's only natural if she's fairly new and you've had him a long time.
It will take time for him to learn to trust her, but I think that's all it is, time.

Agree with other poster.Could you let him/her feed horse on trailer and show her some join up .Good luck:)

This is the thing, I bought him and ive known her a long time and she wanted to loan, so we tired him out together, ive had him since June and she has done exactly what I have done and we do a lot together too :D so dont understand what the reasons are
