Anybody use them?

All 3 of my lot have white, light coloured tails and my mare is particularly disgusting and pee's and poo's in her tail

Just wanted to know what people thought of them and how there horses took to wearing them? What material are they made of? The website says that the material is breathable and waterproof but is it that really rough stuff or nice and soft, i'm asking as was thinking of using one on the filly to keep her tail nice and clean for the show season but don't want to scare the life out of her!!!

I have the mane bags and I don't think i really mastered how best to use them as mine still gets mud on the bits that aren't in the bag. The tail bag would probably be better

A client uses them on her traditional cob and swears by them. She even comes to lessons with his mane and tail in them and gets very odd looks from others!!!
They aren't over rustley so providing you've tied it up properly there shouldn't be a problem with her bieng scared of it.
I'm so glad Spider has a mostly black tail!

They probably are worth it but have never used them. I usually just bandage down just past the dock then back up so not too low. I then plait the tail thats left to the bottom as far down as possible. I then double the tail up aupon itself and use another tail bandage to bandage over both bits. When the bandages come off the tail is clean and has the bonus of a nice natural wave!

I use one on my mare's snowy white tail...and it stays white, she doesn't like noisy stuff and flicked off a hi-vis tail wrap in 5 seconds but this stays on 24hrs apart from when I work her..when I chose to take it off. Great invention.

I use them on all of mine and they are FAB - totally brilliant - just make sure you get them long enough. I even have the turnout one for my stallion and is tail touches the floor........don't know what I did before I used them.
