does anyone know a product or a secret on how you can thicken horses tails...?
Also my lad has mild sweetitch at the top of his tail and is losing his hair...does anyone know anything which helps it to grow back...?
I am using a ton of flyspray and cream to assist as well as garlic in their feed daily to help with the flies....

I'd be interested to know to... my share horse's tail is practically bald at trhe top where he has been in rugs with rug flaps all winter!

I was reccomended by my YO to use Tea Tree oil when my new horse came, it apparently soothes the tail, and itching

never used it though, he stopped rubbing without me stepping in!

I can sell you some of Sunny's tail! It is to die for! Wish there was a HOYS class for thickest, swishiest, naturally-crimped looking tail coz he'd get a prize! Only time I hate it is when he gets the runs but lets end on a high and not go there...........!

Megatek - great stuff. Even restored Cairo's mane after years of a hogged and few wisps look from his chemo.

I use it on Chancer's tail - not only is the hair more able to take his occasional rubs - he has mild SI but I have noticed that if I rub a litte on mixed 50 - 50 with water daily he rubs far less.

When out, I also put a lot of my home made fly spray which contains essential oils and Avon skin so soft. The combination of this and a rambo fly protector seems to do the trick for him.
