I had a holiday booked a while ago and since then have lost my German Sheperd and bought a pup. Hes 3 mths old and a little darling! Renting a cottage so will be keeping teeth away from anything tempting! Taking the other dog too, who loves Cornwall and will have a good wash in the sea! Can't wait to see what little Paddy thinks of the beach! Pics will follow!

Have a fun time

You might want to keep him on a long line, I was hand-delivered a diver (bird, not person

), he swam half-way to Scotland to get it

My late father in-law Len Crow and grandfather in-law Bill Lindsey built and 'rowed', the first ferry between Padstow and Rock. The family owned the Brabyn boatyard where the Waters Edge flats are now in Padstow.
Grandfather Bill only ever travelled in a Rolls Royce once, front seat with myself and new wife in the back lol lol he was really chuffed

Bill was part of the group who set up the Padstow museum and a lot of his fantastic carved wood/chains etc are still displayed. Uncle Eddie Murt deceased ( married to Barbara Lindsey, my mother in laws sister),was mechanic on the life boat for many years.
Nearly all us youngsters still live and work here so i will give you a wave across the estuary and have a great holiday

You'll be OK taking your dog to Polzeath at this time of year, but if you go in the summer it's one of the beaches you can't take dogs on. Daymer Bay next door though is brilliant for dogs all year round! The pic of my Yorkie above was taken at Constantine Bay, which is lovely too

Hi guys, yes we go there a lot and I love Daymer Bay. I think you can go on Polzeath after nov 1st. My friend works in the lifeboat shop on tuesdays in Rock. They have a boat which we go in. Scratchline, you will see me, a mad 6 ft woman with my 2 dogs, the pup and a doby x GSD with my better half walking on the beaches. Poss with my friend who has English setters.x
