Hi all!
We're looking in to getting another horse. She's a rescue case, taken from gypsies (am I allowed to say that? its the word the charities use, and they were....) who had abandoned a whole herd of them in a field. Charity removed them, but had problems and long story short they all got in together and a lot of babies were born.
Potential new horse (PNH from now on!) was born at charity centre. Charity had LOTS of issues with the gypsies breaking in, trying to steal the horses back etc etc etc. They've now been moved to a diff part of the country and PNH was born at centre so they probably dont even know she exists - but do you think we should be worrying about taking on a horse that potentially has those security issues?
I don't want her stolen, firstly cos we'd be heartbroken but also cos our other one is very, attractive shall we say, to the travelling sort.
Thoughts?
