hi everyone!

well - having been lucky enough to use my parents ex-racing yard to start my business (and living at the yard too!!) - ive decded its time to branch out into the big wide world all on my own!!!! just a tad scared!!!
i have issues with leaving my horses on an unsupervised yard - so need somewhere that has liveable accommodation - even if its a dingey caravan - im not bothered!!!
but i need to find a yard of my own as i take on a few full liveries as well as the breaking/schooling/competition and sale ones - and don't tink its fair on my parents to have people they dont know on their property... they dont mind the other - or the show jumping family i have (who live down the road) but dont want total strangers turning up - which is fair enough!!

im based south east at the mo (berks) and would love to stay down here - but cant see myself affording anything!!

i was just wondering how you handled moving to your own house/yard??? any stories for me??

i would mind taking another show jumper with me to share the place and help cover costs - any other ideas???

just thought i'd see what stories you guys had.........

yeah thats what i thinking ill have to do!!! i dont really mind where i go! my boyfriend might - his business is based in berks - but im guessing thats just the way the cookie crumbles!!

I had to move out into the wide world of commerce for a few years to save a decent enough sum of money. I have also gone into business with a partner, so I have someone to share the burden with.
With regards to finding premises, but way is word of mouth. they rarely are advertsied to rent, and those that are are usually massively overpriced IMO

yes- i think having someone to go in on it with me is the best idea... i dont want to rent - i want to buy - so i have somewhere that in time i can do up possibly and maybe sell on - who knows - but i dont think i want to rent - ....
