well...there is a local show in 2 weeks, and i have promised my son (3) that he can take his pony.... (which will also mean taking his brother & his pony)

so, what classes would you say would be suitable, i really have no clue, can't find a schedule (yet) and at the moment neither child has a tweed jacket,

so... do you think i could get away with him wearing a navy velvet suit jacket (it's gorgeous, but in a cute kid at a wedding way)

(i'm hoping no2 son, won't actually notice he's not doing anything other than walking around the lorry park)

so any tips/suggestions or thoughts?

thanks
RD

Hi I love your post about No 2 son lol, Im not sure as never done child/pony showing before but have just googled first riden ponies and quite a few have dark jackets, hope this helps , good luck:)

Any kids at the yard who could lend you jackets? Otherwise no I dont think it'd matter at all, nobody is going to be horrid to a kid!!! So long as pony is turned out properly.

Photos required afterwards! Good luck xxxx

Thanks, thier ponies live at my mums, so no local kids (don't know any boys that ride at all!) and the only girls are 7+..... haven't got into PC yet, unless i spot a jacket 2nd hand or on offer he can wear the velvet number!

tack isn't remotely right (black synthetic cub saddle.... brown & white padded bridle) but i suppose as long as she's plaited & clean & tidy it won't really matter?

god.... what am i doing!
