ok so parents have moved to a new pub, in a different county, and the hunt have been to ask if they can meet at the pub. Parents agreed - only if Mum doesn't have to get too close to a horse

The lovely hunt have offered that I can go and visit the hounds, and if I feel like it, borrow a horse and go hunting

Would you?! I've never been before, and am not the bravest rider

I'm debating asking if they have childrens days and can I pretend to be a small child for the day!

How exciting!! I am a chicken myself but have thought about going on either a newcomers day or cubbing - its all a bit slower and calmer for you to get a feel for it!

hell yeah!! If it's a hunt horse you're borrowing all you have to do is sit there. Im not brave and I love hunting

A lot of hunts have a day in autumn cubbing time for first timers - might be asking if they have one of them as that would be perfect.

hm, the guy who drinks in the pub is about 90, and used to be whipper in, hence why it all came about.
If I say yes, and get put on a psycho horse, and am never seen again, I will blame it all on the forum!

I would love to go,havnt upto now as i have worried about my lad hurting himself,however am thinking about it this yr as he is very sane and sensible so i can take the easy options,lol

YES its amazing!!!! most hunts have options so you dont have to jump if you dont want to, the hirelings are very sane most of the time they know there job inside out and have been round plenty of times before DEFINATELY GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
