this is my boy, Mr Velvet! He's 3 and 2 months! Not backed yet but is doing ground work and will be back next year. You tend to view your horses through rose tinted glasses so would like peoples honest opinion!! He will never be olympia quality but has super straight paces! Although I do think his neck is a little on the short side...
Any CC very welcome!!!

He's lovely!

I'm NO expert- Maybe a little short in the neck or a touch long in the back (the middle section withers - rump) my opinion varies between the pictures and I'm sure he will alter more in the next year or 2. I personally like a a shorter neck...

He looks gorgeous and will be a beauty when mature

I think he is gorgeous, nice short cannons and a lovely head.Actually I think his neck is fine, he has a nice shoulder as well.Nice quarters and a deep girth. But I am no expert. I like him, he is a nice stamp of a horse, and at only 3 he still has a lot of growing to do.

Nik Scott - Yes I've always thought he may be a bit short in the neck, he takes 5'9 rugs..

FDC Thankyou :) Yes he's got a bit of growing to do Im hoping he may make 14.3.. maybe even 15hh :O ( his bum is a touch under 14.2 on the stick)

Hes by Aimbry Chester a British Warmblood, and out of a Welsh C mare.

Ah now I though there was a bit of Welsh around his face and ears. The WB explains the length of back. He is stunning and if I were you I would get him out showing, he is a really nice stamp of a horse as I said before.

do you really think so? I never thought he was good enough really! I thought workers when hes ridden would be his limit.. Im not a showing expert though!

he shown as a foal and Iv led him past the local showground as its very close to me! but your right, a few inhand classes would do him the world of good.. I suppose a 'thanks for coming' is better than nothing ;)

eta - and shiny rosettes would just be a bonus :)

He is absolutely lovely. I really like him, he has a lovely face and he looks like a very nice mover to me. I'd take correct over flashy any day :)
