For all of you who are great at turnout, I need some tips! I'm taking the 4yr old pony to the local riding club 'fun' show next weekend but from experience, the standard is pretty high!
This is her first outing (going in hand) & we're going to attempt the turnout & condition class as it's first thing before the show gets too busy but this isn't a class I would normally choose to enter!
I can turn out to a pretty good standard & my plaits are neat & tidy but are there any good tips for that final polished look? Nothing too fiddly as I doubt she'll be standing still once we get there! She's a bay with no white legs, which makes life a bit easier.
Any top tips?!

Take a flask of warm water and a towel, dampen the towel and ring it out well. Before you go in the ring, brush the warm damp towel over her. Gets out the dust and makes a great shine :) Also a tiny bit of baby oil round the nostrils and eyes and good dark hoof oil. If you have quarter markers brush them on and spray with hair spray. Good luck, I love a spot of showing :)
