Can anyone recommend any places to take your horse away with you? Preferably somewhere in the New Forest but also open to somewhere else within a couple of hours of Kent - Will be going for the hacking ideally so somewhere with miles and miles of scenery would be perfect!
Thank you :D

We're at the other end of the country - in Dumfries and Galloway in SW Scotland but we do holidays where you can bring your own horse along.

We have direct access into the forest where there are literally hundreds of miles of tracks so you can keep off all the roads - and some of the tracks lead down to the cost so you can go for a beach ride too if you fancy!

Take a look at this site for all the info - www.gorsebank.com

And at the moment we have a special offer on for 4 riders, 4 horses for 2 nights at just £59! You can see more details here -

Thank you guys! I will check out that New Forest website.
And thank you but Scotland is too far, the transport would just cost way too much as I don't have my own! :(

just be warned...in the new forest we have 'crab flies' (the move side ways like a crab') and if you horse isnt use to them they can set off some amazing reactions! the movement of them can really freak a horse out, and they can be a pain to catch!
