talk to me about owning & riding really really big horses

I have a 17.3hh Shire X, the worst thing about having such a big horse is having to duck the WHOLE time on bridlepaths etc. If there are any trees over paths or tracks guaranteed I will spend more time ducking than sitting normally - gets VERY annoying after a while!!
