Talking about names

We have a horse on our yard called Whallop! (sp!) like a smack!
At first I was like cr** psyco pony, but know its cause its that lazy and badly behaved its just what it needs!

It snot funny, but I ride a horse in america called Kiveat (pronounced K-i-v-ee-t) yet we get So many STUPID concotions of what the announcer thinks it might be! and I had one person who failed to say my name properly! (penrose not that hard really is it!?!!)
Your mum is a funny name though!
 
I know of a show horse down here called Whizbang..........

I am not 100% sure that is it called that, but that is what I have heard and what will stay with me forever

Ooo coloured fan, how old is your Pumpkin. My friend had a crabby bay mare called Pumpkin years back that was sold. TB type, about 15hh ish from memory, would be well into her 20's now

When I was looking to buy a youngster there were 2 with silly names

A friend of mine has an eventer named "Kibbles 'n' Bits" which is a brand of dog food in N. America. Story is that's where the horse would headed but that might just be a story. The name always got a laugh though.

There was a big, chesty sorrel TB filly that ran against colts years ago called "Blondeinamotel" and a friend of mine has a race horse she actually managed to get the fairly common name "Aftica" for (Another F***ing Thing I Can't Afford).

Spot and UnSpot were actually named Argentinia and Armenia when their breeder was into country names. We also had a Honduras, a Croatia etc. It got a bit silly by the end.
 
I used to have a LW show cob called Willie Fitzpatrick! He was quite a dude and we did quite a lot of unaffiliated stuff where I would just enter him as Willie so the poor commentator would have to announce:

"Here is X riding Willie"!!!

haha i was contemplating changing my mare to clamity jane after her round the weekend before last !!!! although she earned her real name again this weekend!!! she is ultimate excess becaus she is ultimately excessive about everything she doesnt just spook she disappears as far away as possible !!!! lol!!!

we had a youngster (before we registered it and gave it a proper name) which started life as "naked"

When I first started doing dressage I had a 15.3 anglo arab called Polo who had the attention span of a gnat and was dreadful to do dressage on - so in the end I competed him under the name GARUNTEED A LAUGH........ Which you were whilst watching our pitiful attempts!!!
