Someone asked earlier about the intelligence of TB's
tongue.gif

Well this is my boy, who is now 17 and in his former years, won 8 out of 31 races

.... but I really do not know whether he recalls any of it, as he is so thick and a DUH !!!!

This is him yesterday ..... arrived back from a long ride, took his bridle off and he then wanted to scratch his side and then promptly just stands there, in the same position DUH ....

His racing name was Nanton Point and his claim to fame was running The Cesarewitch twice, the first time he was 2nd and the 2nd time he was 2nd to last and never raced again

Funnily enough a horse called Nanton ran that race this year, so I put a bet on him, but sadly he is still running ..........

He is gorgeous, I love it when they are relaxed and comfortable enough to be chilled out like that - says an awful lot about the way you care for him and you should take it as a compliment from him that he trusts you so much he can do that

Yup...daughters Tb is a dope
tongue.gif

We always hack past a row of wheelie bins on a grass verge. This particular day we came back from the hack and Benj wanted to go round the back of these bins over the grass. Daughter caught her stirrup on one of the bins which promptly fell over with an almighty clatter and the lid flopped open. I held my breath and waited for him to disappear into orbit but nothing...not a flicker
grin.gif
Although he did jump the other day when my cob farted

My friends ex-racer Del can come across abit thick and stupid.... but I think it's all an act!! She put him out in the lunge ring, and look what the clever lad did to get some grass lmao.... xx

my TB is thick, really thick. his tiny little brain cell means that he can't co-ordinate his legs so he's always injuring himself and pulling shoes off. he also gets in a tizz really easily- again because of the one brain cell...i know lots of intelligent TBs but Rocky aint one of them
smirk.gif

God only knows what Danny actually is, but he definitely has TB in him and definitely leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to intelligence
crazy.gif
Bless him though, he does try!

mine is just the right amount of stupid-not thick enough to be a danger to himself or me, but just thick enough that for e.g i can do 5 flying changes in a row, and the 6th time round he will not for one second anticipate doing another one.
whatever i say goes.....because he doesnt have the brain power to think of an alternative lol. he is a sweetheart and a lovely boy, but he isnt the sharpest, and i think thats what makes him such a good competition horse-his brain cant cope with multitasking so he just listens to me!

lmao rudey!! ladies and gents that is my lovely delbert the thicko, aka mr moneypit! I forgot you took that pick of him!
grin.gif
and Eaglestone, it think del is still trying to work out what he is so he might think he actually is a sheep!
crazy.gif
He's tried to eat anough tarpaulin to not be afraid of it, he loves carrier bags because he associates them with food, and wheelie bins are fine. He's exactly the same as yours- he'll see a blackbird in a tree in the distance and start being scared... not noticing the huge lorry that's rumbled past him! He's also managed to pull a post out of the ground by trying to itch his ass on it, getting his rug stuck and legging it. daft nag!
smirk.gif
oh and he's so nosey he will actually start walking sideways down the road because he's looking over people walls/into fields!
grin.gif

oh yeah. re above post, his mum is speacial too... i actually took the pic and sent it to rudey... duh!!! who's special now?? and AND my dig is we found him and rudeys little roxy poos are related!!! beware the special gene!!!
