Bizarre conformation to say the least.

Equally as worried by the non-refundable deposit- does that apply to if (when) it fails the vetting? ?

Exactly, I was victim of a non-refundable deposit when the dealer simply decided to sell to someone else! Also the seller phone no. has 2 names and 3 locations .

This one catches my eye. Not what the OP wants of course, but she looks nice in her photos.

Plenty of adverts for the phone number, but dealer can't decide if he is in Halesowen or Kidderminster. Caveat Emptor even when buying a cow coloured moose.

Ooh, cheeky! Nowt wrong with a cow pony.

I promise you, I’m not buying another. (Please ignore the Oops, bought 2 puppies thread!)

I’ll raise you a 21 year old for 4K ……

This person knows the market. The average novice rider is overweight, unfit and 2 years short of being fit to own a real horse. I'd say a 21yo saintly shire is what they should spend their £4k (average novice) budget on.

Equally sadly, the person who should buy this horse will in face buy something wholly unsuitable for the same money because it looks sexy, and is younger.

Least the seller is honest but 2 vices that would have me running in the opposite direction "bolted" and "rears". May just be very inexperienced with ex racers and someone who knows what they're like could turn him around. Terrible photos.

I rather like the look of this guy

I saw her and thought she looked like a nice type. Nice trot in that one photo of her being ridden. I know, "beware the Chestnut mare" and all that ?

Oh, that's a shame. I got happy (at you looking at new horses) and sad in the space of around 30 seconds. Never say never! x

Definitely not. I’ve sold/am selling everything, gave all my rugs to a pony sanctuary. Gave away my rubber mats/feed to a friend. I have 2 shoes for painting and his bridle/bit. His saddle has been in the shed for months.
