My lab really lives up to his breed - he is the most greedy dog I have come across.

Yesterday he excelled himself when he managed to jump up and pull down a coconut filled with seeds and fat that my daugher had made that morning for the birds and ate the lot!

He eats his dinner so fast he is retching at the same time - its disgusting!

Naughty boy! Cindy (8month lab) is a nightmare, she bolts her food whereas Tina (8 year old lab) is a very fussy eater. And she will only take food off certain people (eg me or my uncle, but not my OH)

mine isn't greedy

which in some ways is a shame - cos he isn't food motivated for training... but on the other hand is nice... cos in the park yesterday there was a mountain of white bread that he ignored while other dogs were greedily going for it...

One of mine (Bess) ate a tub of live maggots that my son had got for fishing.

She didn't feel too good after that.

LOL - sounds just like mine!

LOL, we have two three month old little sisters to go with our 10 year old, one of the pups is a stomach on legs too and the slightest rustle of a bag will bring her running with an eager look on her cute little face. The other sister is smaller and she takes twice as long to eat her food. Our older girl used to be very fussy until she was kept in hospital at Newmarket for three weeks and they put her on a starvation diet. Now she eats like you're never going to feed her again.
