What size is your regular riding horse? Do you look under horsed?

This is my issue.... If it's not over about 16.2 and wide my legs are under the belly. It depends on how your built too, I am 'only' 5ft7 but I am very long hip to knee so I make even my 17.2 look about 15hh
Small is the way to go! What were Mongolian horses like in comparison to both Icelandics and to UK natives? I'm really curious.6ft1in. I have two neds, a 15.2 and a 16.1. Happy on both. Have ridden Mongolian and Icelandic horses, both short (13hh). Far more comfy on smaller neds.
Ohh the joys of spring! Most 17h+ horses I've had/known weren't really aware of their ability to buck, I always presumed because their legs were too long to arrange the logisticsMe, 5ft10 on my 17.2hh having a “spring is nearly here” moment’
He does at least give me ample notice!Ohh the joys of spring! Most 17h+ horses I've had/known weren't really aware of their ability to buck, I always presumed because their legs were too long to arrange the logistics![]()

This is probably true but there was some dreadful riding being praised on the same sub so I thought I'd be ok. Sometimes I really just feel like I'm so sh1t and overthink everything so much I should just give up!The mistake is not in your height on the pony but in posting the photo on Redditit's brutal on there!
