Hi, I'm currently looking for black leather tall boots for competing (SJ) but there's a big problem; I have such short legs!! :'( I'm 153cm/5feet and my foot size is 4/37, and the length of my legs from heel to back of me knee is 37cm/14.5inch. All of the boots are fine with the size but catch me at the back of the knee...
Anyone have recommendation of boots that might fit me? I prefer field boots. Thanks!

My daughter has the same problems. She's 4.5 but her leg is slightly shorter at 14". The Toggi Cartwright comes in a short fitting which worked - although sadly she chose the Ariat Volant short fit! The other one that worked for her was the Brogini child boots - but the patent top would not have been PC suitable. With "black friday" (whatever that is?!!) lots of retailers are doing huge discounts just now.

I share your problem. I have a pair of Harry Hall Finlay long boots that fit me but I know they don't make that type any more. Their current boots are all 41cm or more in length.

Surely there must be a manufacturer that can cater for shorter legs? I know loads of people my size who ride.

I have ariat heritage field boots and the regular length fits perfectly (and I'm 5'4"), so I'd guess their short length would be ideal for you.

I have a beautiful pair of italian leather boots bought in error as too small. they are immaculate.if you are looking for a bargain, pm me.
