Does anyone have a pair of either of these? Its my birthday coming up and its the only thing i have thought of for my mum to get me (other than mundane boring stuff!)
So if anyone has got them - what are they like - do you like/love/hate them, are they worth the money, are they really waterproof, would you reccomend them?!
Thanks in advance!

I posted a similar post in competition riders about waterproof breeches and had several replies a couple of months ago. Just do a quick search on it.

I bought a pair of Aylesbury breeches for hunting last year. I had to send my first pair back as they come up small and aren't too stretchy. The fleecy material is lovely and warm and pretty waterproof but the synthetic suede is thin, cold and def not waterproof so my legs got soaked anyway! The Ashford have overcome this problem by making them entirely out of the fleece material with a suede knee patch. This should indeed make them waterproof and as such will be worth every penny. If it's not too late, go for the Ashford. I still wear my Ayleburys and they do keep my legs lovely and warm (so long a sit doesn't pour!) but I might invest in a pair of Ashfords if they go cheaper in the sales!
