Hi :)

Was wondering whether anybody had any experience of the adult group lessons at Talygarn (South Wales). Have tried to find reviews but to no avail! Does anybody know whether they are older adult or mainly teenagers. Am a bit of a nervous nelly at the moment and am worried the classes will consist mainly of very confident teenagers :o I am fairly experienced but haven't ridden much in the last few years, and so think I'm worried that I might be a bit out of my depth.
Feel free to PM me if you prefer :)
Many thanks!

Sorry hope you don't mind if I join the thread, I'm in South Wales and maybe looking to take my baby to something like this to get him seeing new places but I wouldn't feel comfortable in a group full of confident teenagers lol

Saying that maybe if you phoned them they could fit you in with similar people to yourself?

Thanks for the reply :) I was thinking about phoning them and asking them, but I didn't know whether it would be considered a bit rude (or ageist :p ) to ask to be put in a group with fewer teenagers. And also, I'm still nervous about returning to riding, so even phoning up and asking about things is relatively scary :p I think I may need to bite the bullet and give them a call :)

I know the exact feeling, tell you what if I want to wimp out (which i do often) I email first and if you do get a reply in a few days then phone lol :P I don't think it's rude to ask lol at the end of the day you're paying for the lesson :P

I'm involved with Riders 2000 RC and we have weekly lessons of all standards if you wanted to join and come along to those to give your baby some experience. Adults are taught separately from the kids so no confident teenagers to cope with. We do however have quite a few hormonal women, nervous nellies, and total no-hopers (ie me!) if that's any good for you? We meet at Alps in Wenvoe and have pretty regular competitions too. (Well, when the weather lets us!)
