Does anyone use these/tried one of these? How did you find it, did your horse go better etc?

Been recommended this for my mare who has sensitive/trigger pointy lats. She is under physio and vets, rehabbing issues currently and have been told this girth due to its sternum plate and then elastic over her trigger areas. Found one on market place but umming about going for it as I'm skint 😂

My very sensitive boy did not like it all, i found it quite hard so can see why it wasn't for him. I also have the Stubben Cord Girth, the Shires Arma fleece ones and memory foam ones. He loves the Prestige donut girth.

I use the dressage version with a Strada saddle on my Exmoor pony. It was recommended as it provided extra stability at the same time as keeping it away from his elbows. I am not an expert and can't give you any before and after stories as he was only recently backed when it was first used, but it has never caused any issues, and the saddle has never slipped. I like it.

My mare is very sensitive with girths & she really likes the tapestry girth I've got on my dressage saddle, even better I picked it up for a decent price on Ebay!

The utter rigidity of the sternum plate is the main thing that puts me off, and no split between the buckles. Rolly polly horses generally benefit from using wide apart girth straps and it's good to keep that V shape going right down into the girth, as low as possible.

There are quite a few girths with sternum plate, relieveing pressure on the lower sides of the ribcage, but they're mostly pretty expensive in terms of design and manufacture.

My sensitive mare hated it, it's really hard and rigid. Went straight back when I tried one, horrid thing. The LeTixeraut is far superior and similar design. I use on my dressage saddle with great success.
Although as mentioned above, the Shires Arma Fleece girths are good and my mare is happy in her anatomical one on her GP saddle. Nice on the finances to!
