A few weeks ago I went on a hack on a hot day, and we went along a road which had some tar on it. As it was so hot, the tar had melted and some of it flicked up onto my pony's legs. The problem is, it has stained his legs and no amount of brushing or washing will get it off. It doesn't bother him, I just want to get rid of the little brown spots on his legs! Anyone got any tips or will it eventually wear off?

Found this.... should be ok for horses with a good wash afterwards...

"A mixture of dish washing liquid and vinegar also can remove tar stains from clothing, upholstery and carpeting. Mix 1 tbsp. dish washing liquid or detergent with 1 tbsp. white vinegar and then blend with about 2 cups very warm water. Dab a sponge or cloth into the mixture and gently rub the stain with the solution, blotting until the tar is removed."

Let us know!:)
