We brought Tara home yesterday from where she's been grazing; can't believe how she's grown so much, now about 14.2 but with legs like bean poles that go on forever; heaven knows how big she'll end up! She's still hanging onto her winter coat a bit but she has been out 24/7 so not surprising, we're still getting frosts here!
The mares were most unimpressed with her and Lacey saw her off big style but she just moved out of their zone so it's stalemate for now.
Bea is due this weekend to Tobago but I think she'll go a few more days yet; Lacey's not due for another month by which time she'll resemble a hippo. She is due to Parsons Rasputin which will be interesting.
The pups are growing like weeds, have nearly caught the lurchers up now and they are thieving horrors; whipped the sock off my foot as I was taking my wellies off and raced up the lawn with it but they did have great fun playing tag and tug so didn't have the heart to do anything and if they want one of my old smelly welly socks I think they're welcome! I've also lost my computer chair to someone other than Modge. As you can see, they're quite at home and relax a lot!

Love the look of Tara, really nice looking filly.

As for the dogs! Well, we can see who rules the roost in your house!!:D:D

Lol, that's never in doubt Amy; we live with them.

Glad you like her, she's a lovely character too. Yesterday, we caught her out of the field from her mates; they screamed blue murder but she left without a care; dragged her through the garden hedge, around a builder's lorry with ladders and all sorts all around it, over the lawn and straight up the trailer ramp without a care in the world; I was very impressed with her

she's a lovely filly. Would you like to swap her or a big, broken gelding? I wouldn't mind one of the lurchers either :D

Thanks Jess but not likely, no, thanks all the same! I think the lurchers would have something to say about that too, they'd probably suggest I take their place which wouldn't be any fun for you!

Ahh. Boo. I have a lurcher already so I probably don't need any more anyway I suppose. His nose would be put considerably out of joint if I acquired another one! :D
