Targets and ambitions for 2013?!

To have a crack at novice dressage and score 62%.
To get out to some SJ and get a double clear at 2'6"
To get out to some more fun rides.
And I say this every year ... To get S out hunting for our first time.

i would love to get my rising 4 yr old backed at ;long last due to lots of set backs this year i have had t cancel sending her away 3 times as she had a mystery illness affecting her liver then tiyed up and so one so getting her backed and schooled on would be amazing then i would plan by end of year to try a free dressage tests with her. get the rising 3 yr old backed also get there mother out jumping more as not got enough out of her bsja registration this last year due to lots going on. as for me to be more happy and settled with life and loose weight

To take my horse on the beach across the road from my yard ! Not sure why I am so friggin scared my sharer ( who is younger and more gutsy ) has taken him over there loads!

My main fear is if there are other horses down there he tends to get himself in to a bit of a tiz about this ??

am thinking I may do it ridiculously early one morning to start with ..........in any case am determined to have done it by the end of the year !!

To train for and take my stage 3 riding (obviously i would love to pass but know i might not!).

To do the above i will need to do more jumping and improve that.

To compete in the BHS equitation competition final which i accidentally qualified for without falling off/making a fool of myself/having a panic attack.

To have some sessions on a mechanical horse to find out how wonky i am and then try and get fixed by an osteopath.

To keep up with the running i have started recently so i get fitter.

To go back to Ireland for another riding holiday to remind myself riding is fun!

To restart sharing a horse so i can ride 3 times a week.

I'd like to work on Chloe's education to a point where she's my main hacking pony. We're currently gently hacking out and starting work on trot transitions with me on board. So, I need to get her fitter, more confident and understanding of the aids. I think taking her to a pleasure ride will be too much, but if the opportunity did arise later in the year, who knows! Some of this will be dictated by how Henry is this year (metabolic issues).

To not have any stops or poles down SJ.
To actually complete an ODE.
To beat our score of 65% in novice dressage and to eventually move up to elementary.
Try some showing.

This year I want to start competing properly after a 19 year break. Last year I did a clear round at our local RC show after my daughter bullied me and went just for that. I am so glad she bullied me because now I want to do a small open class in the summer to see how I go! I feel like I'm a teenager again lol

Also planning to have a go at dressage too which my other daughter is encouraging me to try as I have never even attempted it as a child!

To get back on my 4yo after being turned away for winter and not die.
He has a new horrible habit of bucking when excited (lunging, TO etc) at the moment which I'm hoping won't come through in ridden work!

When he's going nicely and after I've introduced jumping, I want to get out to some local shows with my new tweed jacket and showlead I received for Christmas and also some low level SJ.

For Pip to recover, and if she does to move up to 1m classes and go clear. Going to try and qualify for Cricklands this year and I will actually go this time! Also to have lots of fun :D

To get round a cross country course without falling off. To achieve this I need to improve my riding to the point where my mare is no longer embarrassed to be seen with me!

To take hunter and me to our first jumping show or well any show :) so for that we need to learn to jump, load and behave ;) which he ISN'T doing atm (he's currently in dog house)
