Recommendations please. It needs the eyelets to be able to tie it down and be fairly sturdy, current one is more like a canvas and is very threadbare :(

You get all types of gsm weights for tarps. Go for 200gsm + heavier ones…the 80-150 gsm type are thinner and the wind and UV can weaken them within a year.
They all have eyelets on them…the thinner ones sometimes lose/rip out the eyelets in winds. I live in a windy place so avoid thin tarps!

We use car covers but the hay isn't open to the wind lidl ones but you need to add eyelets if you want it outside in a windy spot

We bought ours from screw fix I think….it formed a rectangular cube with 2 zips on one side..I think it was to cover patio furniture..or a boat/caravan….I bought rectangular small hay and could fit loads under it. Actually I wonder where it is???

We use old lorry curtains. The are extremely heavy and we don't need to tie them down, we just put a tyre or two on the top if it's gale force winds. You can unsually pick them up for free and they last forever, unlike the thickest of tarps.
