Woke up this morning to find that we had lots of snow. Tarquin really appreciated being in and as he has never seen snow in his life I was interested as to see what he'd think. He is 6 now and was always barn kept all winter up to the point where I bought him, so this snow thing is quite novel. All he wanted to do was roll...

Then he wondered what he was going to eat

I went back out after mucking his stable out and my foot prints were already gone. But he has got to some hay to munch on now and looks really happy. Yesterday was filthy here, freezing cold and hail so its quite nice and warmish today with the snow and no wind.

I was at the yard from 9 to 10.30 and had to rescrape car windows when I left as there was another inch or so of snow on them. It's still snowing now!
One of the other horses that was out couldn't find her hay as it was completely snowed over in just over an hour, daft thing was licking the snow when I left!
