If any off you receive an e-mail telling you you are due a tax refund and requesting your bank details so the money can be sent to your account please do not fall for this.

thanks for this i've just got it !!
me and mum looked at it and very quickly deleted it and reported to microsoft
i think i knew it was dodgy as it went in my junk mail

for those of you who have to do a tax return there is a similar scam for a tax refund, worryingly these people seem to only be targeting people who actually do have a refund due
