Friends 2 best horses it turns out are from the same stallion line (linked a few sires back)

Ex race and my first love who was put down some years back after a happy retirement in his late 20's after a post racing hunting career

We are now looking for something to hunt with a view to P2P. And would dearly love to find something from this line. We found a mare (by jackson's drift) currently in training but she is going off to stud.

I haven't been able to find anything this side of the Atlantic. Both boys have truly been horses of a lifetime and the pipe dream is to find a mare who would hunt and do the local amateur P2P circuit and in the future maybe ultimately breed another 'keeper' from to event.

Thought maybe some of you keen blood people may know. A.p. Indy was rather prolific sire in the USA who had the line but again all USA (and pricey)

I see there was a 2yo Jacksons Drift chestnut filly out of a Presenting mare sold last year at Goresbridge PTP/NH sales for 425 Euros. She came out of Milltown Park Stud. You do see the odd one at the sales, so it would be worth following it up through the sales offices. Good luck, and let us know how you get on!
 
i wonder what happened to her? :) I haven't found anything on the ground by him since 2013 so maybe she was one of his last crop (he would be 30 this year). There are a few at goresbridge this month in the flat sales by a.p. Indy. But am assuming they will be a bit rich for our blood. Going to see how much they go for as a gauge. I'll check out the stud you mentioned in case.

I came across a Half sister ish for sale recently for £27k! Just gone advanced eventing I think. We did have a word with the boy :)
 
been googling and it appears she was bought by a vet from co.sligo who bought a handfull at the same sale. Can't find anything directly about her though
