I have a 7yro TB gelding, which I purchased as a 5yro from a dealer with no muscle or fat on him. He has been back in work for approximately 1 year after he suffered a leg injury and I have noticed his body has become alot deeper as he matured however he seems to still look so slim to me. He has a massive chest, bum and neck muscles on him however his hips and belly still look so slender.
I was wondering if any other fellow TB owners know as to what age he should start looking abit more like a horse and less like an out of shape donkey. We do alot of dressage and is fed like a king on food that does keep the weight on, just seems like he hasn't grown into himself as of yet and was wondering as to what kind of age I should expect it?
