TB essential for eventing...??

I think tb blood is very valuable in an eventer.
However, there are many lighter framed WBs doing well in eventing, and often if you trace their lines back there is a large percentage of tb there.
My mare is only 1/4 tb yet exceptionally fast. She has close relatives who are full trakehner but very sucessful at 3*

Plenty of Trakehners eventing at top level (considering they are a small stud book compared to the likes of KWPN etc)
But as posted above they have plenty of TB and Arab blood added in to the gene pool over time, although always pre selected as the right 'sport' type.
Selle Francais again, purposely bred for sport, so even the TB and AA blood they add in, is the right type.
So no I dont think pure TBs are essential to event at the highest level, but I do think a blood influneced horse is
