Blooming heck! Poor poor boy! Glad to hear vet thinks he's going to be ok! Had one at my old yard did similar (cut down so deep it scraped the bone), luckily his could be stapled but it was only by chance that his was noticed at all as he was a rs horse not scheduled for lessons that day. Best part was that he was wearing a flymask that did not have one stitch of damage to it, never did figure out how he did it as no blood found anywhere in field (we also wondered if someone had done it to him but there was no way on earth they would have got the flymask back on afterwards...) Anyhow massive healing vibes to the poor boy!
